It was a television serial that served as a springboard for Shahrukh Khanto somersault into the world of movies. More than two decades later, SRK is now turning the yesteryear hit serial ‘Fauji’ into a film. But certain people associated with the serial are unhappy.

Amina Sherwani, who played the love interest of Shah Rukh’s elder brother in the serial, has made a startling revelation.

She claims she and her husband Milind were the co-writers of the serial which was officially written and directed by Colonel Kapoor.

According to Amina, in the original script, which was titled Abhimanyu, SRK had a side role. His role was increased only after a request from his mother. Amina said she and her husband Milind (son of Colonel Kapoor) made many alterations in the script to change Abhimanyu to ‘Fauji’, the serial that took the Indian television by storm.

Amina’s only grouse now is that she hasn’t been approached by SRK’s company when the serial is being made into a film. She wants to be part of the film’s creative team.

She claims SRK knows well her contribution to Fauji but has forgotten her after becoming a superstar.

Enough of tweeting, guys; what about chirping? Priyanka Chopra becomes the first Bollywood celeb to make virtual sounds as the lady enjoys the new application from Twitter.com, called chirp. The actress is glued to the networking site and loves to connect with her fans through it.

The application allows users to leave voice messages on the site so that whenever one logs in, one can hear the message. The story doesn’t end here; songs, love bytes and SOS calls are also being shared on Twitter. Now, what Priyanka will try next depends on what she likes to do; for now she has started chirping besides tweeting.

Here is Priyanka’s first personal audible message, “Hey tweeple, it’s been a long long day and I am solely exhausted; discovered this new chirp and I wanted you to hear…how it feels to hear my voice on Twitter I guess… I would love to hear your reaction. Let me know, lots of love Priyanka.”

When a movie is based on a book, it’s hard to pep up the interest of those who’ve read the book. So, very wisely, director Ashutosh Gowariker has decided to change the climax of his movie What's Your Raashee? so that the suspense remains.

Based on a novel by Madhu Rye, the movie will now have a different ending. Now, Harman Baweja marries a different girl in the end and not the one in the novel. Though it took some persuasion, the author was convinced when Ashutosh described that a similar ending can ruin the climax of the movie as many who have read the novel will know what will happen in the end.

In fact, Madhu never imagined that Ashutosh will make one actress play all the 12 female characters in the story. But for Ashutosh, it made complete sense to havePriyanka Chopra play all the dozen characters because he wanted “all the 12 girls to be looked on with equal curiosity and interest by the audience.” And it does appear that Priyanka has succeeded to pull off all the characters.

Now, whether the changes made work in favour of the movie or not will be known on 25th September, the day the movie releases.
